A necessary reminder always. Never compare your journey (professionally, personally or emotionally) to anyone whether you think you are ahead or behind them on that journey. Your journey/ path is 100% DIFFERENT. We all come from and are going to different places. The traumas of our past and our privileges (or lack there of) make our paths look and feel different. The only thing you are doing by comparing is invalidating either your emotions and experiences or invalidating someone else’s. On top of all that you are wasting all your precious energy you need for creativity. You can recognize and respect someone’s journey without comparing it to yours 💙
